Steve Southern, Owner and Executive Chef
Chef Steve Southern has over 25 years of industry experience. Chef Southern’s distinguished career includes leadership positions at restaurants and hotels throughout Austin, Dallas, and San Antonio, including the reinvention and re-establishment of industry’s finest:
- Huntington’s Restaurant, Westin Hotel Galleria, Dallas
- Cascabel, Sheraton Fiesta Hotel, San Antonio
- Tequila Charlie’s Seafood Kitchen, San Antonio
- eatZi’s Market and Bakery, Dallas and New York
- Culinaire International, Embassy Suites Park Central, Dallas
- Iron Cactus, Dallas/Austin/San Antonio/Hill Country Galleria
Chef Southern is a member of both the Texas Chefs Association and the American Culinary Federation, and in his spare time enjoys traveling internationally via airplane and locally via motorcycle. Chef and Mrs. Southern make their home in Austin, Texas.
